This illustrative print series was commissioned by VanEck to celebrate the launch of their new Australian Government Bond ETFs, a project which I led and delivered. The client wanted a unique medium to distinguish them from their competitors, therefore we reimagined a beloved children’s classic to educate investors and help provide a simple understanding of how Government Bonds function in the market.

The enthusiastic response to the first book from both new and existing clients inspired the creation of a second book, transforming it into an ongoing series. The second book commemorates 10 years of VanEck’s equal weight ETF.

Inspired by the children’s ‘Little Golden Book’ classics, this served as the guiding influence for the style of both illustrated books. The delicate, hand-sketched illustrations paired with soft-toned block colours bring each scene to life with simplicity and warmth. My goal was to transport readers back to their childhood, immersing them in the cleverness of the reimagined story. By drawing on a well-loved and a familiar tale, the book reaches beyond seasoned investors, engaging a broader audience and sparking curiosity about the world of investing.
